This wedding was special to be a part of since I know the couple and it took place in the (beautiful) area I grew up, Mattapoisett. With so many memories, Kelsey and Al knew they wanted to host their wedding day here. They held their ceremony in Munro Park overlooking the harbor followed by dinner and dancing in Kelsey’s parent’s backyard – with a party that went well into the night! Kelsey and her Mother handled many of the details themselves, and it was important to the couple to keep all the vendors local…even one of Kelsey’s friends baked their cake.
Here’s a look inside their big day. Kelsey and Al, thank you for having me!

Meera and Tim were married in June at Elm Bank in Wellesley. I find myself there at least once a season…it’s such a pretty spot with endless gardens to wander in. Meera and Tim’s wedding was a beauty! Guests joined them for a traditional Hindu ceremony in the Italianate Garden, followed by dinner and dancing in the carriage house.
…and how amazing is Meera’s outfit number two!? It was custom made for her in India and the way the light hit the beads in the skirt was amazing!
Here’s a peek inside their special day…

Honored and extremely flattered to be named one of Boston’s Best of 2017 by The Improper Boston! Also, I love that they chose an older image of mine. Gaya on her wedding day at Ocean Edge, Cape Cod. It reminds me of all the amazing couples I’ve gotten the chance to work with, and all the celebrations I’ve been a part of over the years.
I was very much looking forward to being back on Martha’s Vineyard for another beautiful wedding! Funny that this same weekend (a year ago), I was on the island for Vic and Stu’s Chappaquiddick wedding. Sonia & Tim were recently married in Edgartown amongst their closest family and friends. They had a low-key celebration at the Dr. Fisher House – a historic home and venue right in the heart of Edgartown.
Here’s a look at their special day. Below is a list of all the talented {local} vendors that were a part of their celebration.
