Who knew Irises were so beautiful? I didn’t, until now..so simple and delicate…
Yesterday I had the urge to get outside (no matter how cold, and I hate being cold!) to take some photos. I decided to head up to Newburyport to browse around. Newburyport is known for its galleries, gift shops, food, and it’s historic charm.

These next two were taken at Joppa Fine Foods which is a great little speciality food store -reminds me of a shop you would find in Napa Valley!

Here is a photo I took a long time ago with my handy Canon elph point and shoot. Every time I drive by this farm in Maine, I want to take a new picture of it. Perhaps it’s the huge “H A P P Y F A R M” hanging from the top or that it’s a bold red, or maybe it’s just that it’s really really old- whatever the reason, I love it.
I used an awesome Lightroom preset on it to make the colors stand out against the white snow and to give it more of a vintage look.
