If you know me well, you know that I’m terrible at making decisions, even a simple “What will you be having?” from a waiter can frazzle me. I’m not sure why it is, but I’ve at least come to terms with my indecisiveness and unfortunately I think it may be here to stay ๐Ÿ™

This leads me to the point of this blog entry, which is this…

For weeks now I have contemplated changing my blog (maybe just a few color changes, font changes, I haven’t decided yet ๐Ÿ˜‰ ). I know being consistent is good, especially with websites but I was bored…bored with the banner, bored with the colors, etc. So, I am in the process of working on sprucing it up a bit which means my blog may be a little “under construction” here and there.

Please bear with me while I play around and make these changes, because who knows how long it will be until I like what I see!

I may regret this, but any recommendations, comments, etc. are welcomed (for now).

    Alli - Hi Lauren,

The only recommendation I can think of is, is there anyway to make the width of the page smaller so that you dont have to click on the slider at the bottom of the page so that you can see the whole picture? I’m not sure if you know what I mean but for example, the wedding pic you have at the top of your page, when I look at it, I cant see the whoel thing unless I scroll to the right and then you have to scroll back to the left when goign through blog…. maybe it’s just my computer?

Although I wouldn’t want to go back in time (permanently that is), I think we’ve all had those moments when we’ve thought….ahhhh to be a kid again…… There are no worries, no jobs, no responsibilities, no decisions to be made, no commitments, no fears- The world is just one big happy place and your day to day existence is simply about eating, laughing, sleeping and playing.

These photos remind me of just that, and how every once in awhile we should all take a moment, slow down and appreciate the simple things in life, like a bucket & shovel to play with on a warm sunny day ๐Ÿ˜‰

On Saturday I took a quick trip to the Charles river with the intention of shooting sailors (with my camera). While that didn’t go as planned, I did capture some signs of spring.

I normally choose to post photos together that “mesh” well and that look similar in color, feel, etc. but these two are an exception.

I don’t know what kind of tree this is, but the colors were naturally pretty muted so I decided to enhance the muted tones when editing. It almost has an eerie, yet calming feel!?

and obviously there’s nothing eerie about a Cherry Blossom (please correct me if this is not a Cherry Blossom tree)

So, I contemplated posting a birthday blog for you because a small (very small) part of me thought I should spare you some embarrassment, but when I had such easy access to some great photos I knew I had to do it. After all, I’m sure there’s been plenty of times you’ve embarrassed me!

Happy Birthday to a wonderful father.

WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT PHOTOS? ๐Ÿ˜‰
